Luxury and Service out of the world
While the check in process was good, the initial room did not have air-conditioning working and that put me off after a long flight. Glenn - the night manager - was very prompt in changing to another room, that was very comfortable. After that the service - impeccable. The housekeeping staff were so nice getting me ice every few hours and always smiling. I never thought any hotel could match Mandarin but this one does the job and better. The hot and cold plunge pools at gym were handy to soothe my knees sprained after a bad fall. Overall I would recommend staying here just for the luxury!!

This is a historic hotel so there are significant crowds of tourists on the weekends and some weekdays due to the heritage of the property and facilities.
The hotel is amazing and dining options are robust. You should try afternoon tea for historical significance as well as take some time to relax at the pool.
