Clean apartment in very good location , good breakfast and very good people manning the front desk. I also extended my stay and they managed to keep me in same room which was really helpful.

The hotel is an older building with older central heating for an original NYC feeling (did not bother us at all). The apartments are unusual big with bedroom(s) and living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Four of us stayed me, my husband and two teenage daughters. The room was very clean and spacious. By NY standards, the room was huge!
My daughters slept on the pull out couch, which was pretty comfortable. The linens were high quality. The location is very convenient and close to many destinations. The staff very friendly. It was great having a pizzeria next door. We plan on staying at the Bayard for any future NYC trips.
