Great location in Koreatown, about a block away from the Empire State Building and the 34th-Herald Square station. Plenty of shops and restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. My wife and I were wary about booking here but are so glad we did! For the price, it exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, decent size for NYC, housekeeping was everyday, nicely decorated, the bathroom was newly renovated and staff was friendly. 10/10 we would stay here again!

Great location - super comfy bed - small room but to be expected. Minutes from everywhere. Friendly staff. Bottles of water and snacks provided which was a lovely surprise! Also mini bottles of water when you arrived or left each day. It was crazy hot, so that was an excellent perk! There was a window in a small corner of the room above the air conditioning unit but it didn’t offer a view of anything except a little sky. We weren’t in the room all that much so it was fine. The air conditioning unit itself was a bit hit or miss the first day. Slight burning smell which concerned us but it leveled out after that. The elevator was a bit clunky and slow, but worked. If you are going to be out and about most of the time, this is the e perfect place to stay, especially for the convenience of the location and comfortable bed.

There are a lot of teeny, tiny little hotel rooms in Midtown but this place made theirs super comfortable. The room was updated, there are Le Labo toiletries in the bathroom and my room had huge windows looking out onto 5th Avenue. I'll definitely be back.

The room is smaller as to be expected but very clean and very thoughtfully designed. You can hear the city outside but that is part of the allure of it. Starbucks is one door over which is incredibly convenient. Staff are friendly and accommodating with holding bags and answering questions. This is a very New York feel hotel which was perfect for our stay!

I had such a wonderful stay at U Hotel! The room, hospitality and the location at this price point is an absolute steal! I did travel solo, and it felt like the room would’ve been a bit small if shared by two people, but the convenience and accessibility to the most popular NYC spots is worth it. The room was small but cozy. Enough for a short stay. Nice bathroom with big shower. Very comfortable bed. The receptionist was nice and friendly. The most important thing is the location. Close to everything.
