Great character left in the buildings , wonderful to see original features, need a bit of fresh paint here and there, staff very commendable, very peaceful. 2nd time we have stayed and did not disappoint, will stay again

Overnight stay, quick and easy check-in and out. Breakfast good value for money. Clean and comfortable, 1 of the 2 room's decor needs some attention but didn't detract from stay. Would stay again. And Dog friendly.

A lovely old building in a quiet location at a fantastic price . Friendly staff , especially Tommy who opened the bar even though it was only myself requesting a pint !
Property in need of modernisation but for £55 b&b was absolutely spot on.

Very impressive property,the only let down was the bathroom so old looked like it was centuries old, and there was no menus, no times for.meals, check out etc. Very friendly staff.

Comfortable stay
We only stayed for one night, and enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately the restaurant was not available while we were there, but there was a great pub/restaurant within 5 minutes walk. Risley Hall is a very old building so don’t expect hi tech, it’s shabby chic, but our room was large and comfortable and the breakfast was good.

We stayed here late October 2022,
Was a lovely place, very quiet room was lovely staff very friendly, ideal for some time alone chilling.
Room is as spacious, even had a second room with 2 beds in .. lovely big bathroom too
Only minus was our double bed was actually 2 mattresses push together, not ideal but other than that was faultless
Would definitely recommend 👍👍

Exceptional Value
Whilst the hotel could do with a bit of an update in terms of maintenance, the room itself was clean, loads of space, and the hotel has bags of character. For the price paid it was exceptional value.

This could be a first class hotel with some money spent restoring all the old features. Wonderful location and beautiful surroundings. Really spacious and clean rooms with all facilities that are needed and more. Staff are more than polite and helpful. They are also friendly, homely and cant do enough for you to resolve any problems. We had a extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay with you in August and will certainly be returning.
