The hotel was located 5 minutes drive outside Oviedo. It was an old elegant property built in the 1930’s to a very high standard. It was surrounded by extensive grounds and had excellent views over Oviedo. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was of a very high standard.

The hotel is surrounded by forest. The staff could not have been more helpful. The food was delicious, in short we were delighted with this hotel. We highly recommend it.
It’s about 10 minutes from Oviedo center and one need a car. Plenty of parking space available.

THE SERVICE AT THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING. THE CASLE IS BEAURTIFUL AND THE ROOMS VERY NICE. MY ONLY COMMENT TO THE MANAGEMENT IS THE CARPETS NEED TO BE REPLACED IN THE UPSTAIRS ROOMS AND HALLWAYS. OTHER THAN THAT, THE PLACE WAS EXCEPTIONAL. YOU WONT GET BETTER SERVICE ANYWHERE!!

The castle is perfectly mantained, in a gorgeous setting on top of a hill with views of the rolling hills in Asturias.
The director welcomed us with his charming attention to detail and his interesting conversation, he made us feel very welcomed. Every member of the staff from the bar service, restaurant staff both in the dinning room and breakfast were all outstanding, very professional and they tended to our needs. The castle held very modern amenities such as touch eleveators, spa features that I had never seen in a swimming pool with massage water falls that start with the touch of your thumb. Breakfast was included and was substantial, delicious and very elegant with Christmas decorations that were tastefully spread around the castle. Parking was plentiful and just outside the property. The wonderful staff made my sister and I feel like queens! Thank you Alvaro, Nacho and wait staff for your attentiveness to detail and for treating us so well!

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting spoiled by poorly knowledgeable staff.upon arrival by car we were misdirected twice by the same member of staff to the wrong parking area which was confusing in itself. There was a wedding and other events that obviously took priority over hotel guests. The air conditioning in the room did not function it was 29 degrees outside.When we called reception we were informed they controlled the air conditioning!!!!!!!!. I ordered a poached egg at breakfast with some bacon I am still awaiting the poached egg.Very poor service at breakfast. We used the spa it was outstanding one of the best i have used in an hotel
