3 Jun 2026I stayed here 7 here’s ago for my birthday and I came back for my birthday. I do wish I had a balcony but it’s ok. It gave me the classic New Orleans vibe just as it did the first time. It’s an old building so don’t expect it to be extravagant, if you’re looking for a true New Orleans stay this is the place to be. Very simple, quiet and relaxing. Very close to Jackson square, bourbon and just about everything else.

7 Jun 2025Fantastic stay! Loved the pool and the HUGE rooms!! Pool area and front awning need some TLC, curtains in the room would have been nice, but the location and large rooms were amazing!!!

Staying in a place like this has a different charm and over all experience than a traditional hotel. Keep that in mind when booking
All linens were clean and space was clean. Gave cleanliness a (4) because the room could use a painting.
Bed was comfortable. Stayed in the deluxe studio.
Easy self check in and out
Spaces outside the room were comfortable and inviting
Perfect location if you're looking to stay in the quarter

28 Jan 2025It was in a great spot in the city. Easily accessible to all the cool parts of New Orleans. It had everything we needed. The communication with staff was great. They were prompt via text and very kind. My biggest issue was with cleanliness. The walls were dirty with hand and foot prints. The shower had someone’s hair on the walls from a previous stay and the floor had either sand or dirt on it as though it hadn’t been vacuumed. Otherwise it was a fine place to sleep at night.

3 Jul 2025Although the establishment was able to make some much needed fixing, it didn’t start off that way. We had flies, fruit flies, and food in our suite. It was very uncomfortable. When we said we’d leave and go elsewhere is when the staff came in and did what was needed. We received new bedding, but we had to clean up the dead flies ourselves. The floors weren’t swept or mopped. I’m willing to give the establishment another chance in hopes that what we experienced was just a one time thing, but customer service was great at assisting us for the most part.

23 Jun 2025The property is in a good location and the photos were accurate but I was expecting a hotel stay not an airbnb style property. We had some issues with our room that were never resolved because there is no on-site staff. The ice machine was not working, our shower was leaking, light bulbs were out, the TV didn't work, and there were maintenance items, like a jug of oil on the doorframe, left in the room. I did report everything with pictures to the number provided. I was asked to give them 24hrs to correct it. Nobody ever came by.
The front door of our room did not have any sort of security lock or deadbolt. A good amount of light from the hall could be seen through the door. The patio doors opened directly to the pool area which was cool until we realized they didn't securely lock and there was a man smoking right outside of them. Thankfully we didn't have any issues but it was nonetheless unnerving.
There are paid parking options across the street and on the side of the building however, they are expensive.

21 May 2026We were on the 3rd floor had extremely heavy suitcases and were not aware of no elevator. We had to walk up 3 flights of stairs with our suitcases. The building is very old. Chipped wood and rusted metals inside the rooms. Our main light did not work. I would not recommend for comfort but if you love 3 min walking distance to everything in the French Quarter it’s ok

11 Apr 2026While the hotel itself was great, the location is not. We had a street side balcony room, which may have been the issue. The omni royal hotel is across the street and they had their dumpsters emptied at 4 am. The hotel is also between restaurants and they get their food deliveries early in the AM. We bought earplugs so it was fine, but just be aware that it is LOUD. Everything else was great
