Summary: Barely 3 star, not a good value for what we paid ($500/night) The Good: = Great location 3 min walk from train station = Vintage charm = Good breakfast spread The Bad: = Poor maintenance. Mold in shower, doors getting stuck = Room lacked basic amenities like conditioner, lotion = Reception staff seemed clueless, any question needed 3 people to answer. Desk closes down at 11 pm !!

The cutest, quaintest, vintage hotel! It has so much old school charm, and the place felt right out of the late 60’s but still modern. This was an absolute amazing random choice we made to stay. Plus the free breakfast had plenty of hot and cold items to choose. Loved our stay!

No A/C— ventilation worked only half the time. When we checked in the manager told us that were going to get an upgrade., but in reality, she downgraded us to the old building. The shower was tiny. The only good thing I can say is one of the staff members which was a male who is very helpful and gave us good recommendations on restaurants. I think his name started with an F. He had kind of balding head. He was nice.

Nice location just outside of the busy part of town. Very convenient to the train station, but not noisy. The hotel is like a museum inside and there are lots of interesting things to look at.

The staff was very friendly during check in and took the time and care to explain everything to us. They even upgraded us which was icing on the cake. The staff greeted us whenever we leave or come back to the hotel. Breakfast was really good, it had all the basic cold and hot selections. Hotel is like 5-10min walk to the interlaken OST train station. Would definintely stay at Carlton Europe Vintage Adults hotel again when i visit interlaken again.
