Loved this hotel that has spa like aesthetics and staff were all very helpful. We like the location close to beach and has nice views either lakeside or beach views with the mountains too… it has a beach town vibe. The only downside hotel doesn’t have any laundry facilities or laundry service if needed… overall experience was excellent because of the staff

The hotel is just a few steps from the Express Bus Terminal. The reception is welcoming and there is a nice area to sit and read / use your computer if you need before going to your room. There is free coffee, juice and water. The room is large, very clean and very comfortable. The pool is on the rooftop and is heated. It is not included in your room rate unless specifically booked. It is small and can be busy but well worth it if you like to relax in the hot water after a day of travelling. The view is lovely. They have a bubble party at the pool but both days I was there were cancelled due to the wind. The breakfast buffet is absolutely fabulous....enormous variety and all delicious. Well worth it. The staff are great. We needed some medical help and Jake, the trainee at reception, was an enormous help in making calls for us and getting us the help we needed.

This is a very modern nice hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It’s an easy 10min walk to the beach and close to the express bus terminal. We were surprised by the extra fee to use the pool facilities which can be found in the fine print. To rectify, the management offered us a free one day pass which we appreciated. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The location of the property is very proximal to nearby attractions in Sokcho like restaurants and beach fronts. The hotel is newly built in June of 2024, so the interior and exterior facilities are exceptionally clean and well-built. From the moment I checked in, the experience was wonderful. The receptionist was absolutely fantastic—incredibly welcoming, efficient, and helpful, making for a smooth and pleasant arrival process. Very clean and loved the way the room looked. I loved how fresh and clean my room smelled every time I walked in, made it so comfortable. I was worried about parking but the car elevator made it really easy and plenty of parking available over the weekend for us to come and go. Pool was very warm and comforting after a long hike! Great place to stay! Very good beds and nice room interior. The hotel is new and room was comfortable and clean. Great choice at the breakfast, also for Europeans like us. The location of the hotel is really good: beach and Sokcho Ferris wheel nearby and many restaurants in walking distance. The staff at the front desk was excellent - very helpful at every moment, trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We also liked very much the rooftop with its pool and the bar. The views from there in the evening were amazing. We stayed in 6 hotels in Korea during our round trip, all at similar price level, but the Homm Marina Sokcho was the best.

Got a room upgrade on a weekday which was nice. Decent location, staff was friendly and the room was clean, but nothing special. Checked in late and checked out early, so I didn't get to go to the pool, try the breakfast etc. though. Indoor parking space is limited and parking may be an issue on busy days. Overall it was a good place to stay after hiking all day at Seoraksan, and would consider staying again next time.

The rooms are really lovely and we were upgraded to a city room. Hotel smells great too. Has Netflix on the TV. It's close to the Express Bus Station but is another bus or taxi ride away from the main city area. Sokcho has quite a strange layout, but there are plenty of restaurants to walk to within the neighbourhood, and a large supermarket next door. The manager was very friendly and helpful in getting a taxi. The only negative, there is an additional charge for the roof top pool, which I didn't see mentioned anywhere but it was too cold to use anyway. I would recommend this hotel for its finish and size of the rooms.

Homm Marina was a luxurious stop on our Korean trip. With views of the lake and ocean from the window of our room we were immensely impressed with the beauty of the location. A short walk from the beach and bus terminal made this stop convenient as well. We arrived early, stored our belongings at the hotel and took the bus to Seoraksan for some hiking. Our stay was everything we could have imagined!
