Hotel Vischi

While there are plenty of hotels around Lake Como, we were drawn to the Hotel Vischi by the numerous positive reviews. Now after staying there, we can see why. The hotel was in a wonderful location and the facilities were excellent. The pool was great for the kids and the room itself was always clean and the breakfast was fantastic. But most of all, the staff were amazing as exemplified on our first night when my wife was in need of a couple of paracetamol. The pharmacy was closed but the...

We originally booked for 1 night at this hotel as a stopover from England to Tuscancy but it was so nice we stayed an extra night. The hotel overall was immaculate and the staff really friendly. The bedroom had air conditioning and we had a choice of a lake view on the road side or a mountain view on the rear. We choose the lake view with balcony and it was amazing. The food is all freshly cooked and is very good at very reasonable prices and big portions. The wine was also very good with the...

Great communications ahead of our stay, and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. I really cannot compliment them highly enough. We were even shown into the breakfast room early on our last day and were able to take a packed breakfast for our journey. The breakfast was varied, and the restaurant was excellent in the evenings. The service and food were always excellent. The setting is perfect, right on the lake. The parking was handy but we didn't need our car during our stay - it's...

Had the perfect stay at Hotel Garni Corona and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to come to Lake Como. In my opinion, it is in the best location with only a short walk to the ferry and bus stops. Not as busy as Bellagio or Varenna and proved to be the ideal base location. Plenty of restaurants, cafe’s and gelato spots right next to the hotel. Would highly recommend the room with the lake view! Special mention to the lady at the reception who was so helpful and welcoming which was...

The view down Lake Como from our room (No.29) was nothing short of breath taking. The staff where very very helpful and in the main spoke English (if your Italian is limited) food was very nice and reasonably priced. If you are a keen cyclist they cater with their own bikes and a workshop area. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. A bed was provided for our 12 year old son as we requested, so catering for families doesn't present any issues. The Jersey Mob

Family run small hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and they are very pleasant people. Anyone with walking problems would need transport although shuttle bus is free in morning and afternoon. Pool area is very nice. Breakfasts good and although evening meal is limited good quality. Service excellent. Rooms beautiful and clean. We stayed 10 days for our honeymoon. I would highly recommend La Perla. Calm and relaxed atmosphere . Wonderful views from high above the lake. Thank you .
