We had an amazing stay here. Super cozy and calm atmosphere with a nice pool. The service was amazing, super friendly and always looking to help a little extra. Location is great with many options, walking distance to Luz for dinner/lunch or going to the beach, it’s also easy to take an uber to Lagos or Burgau which both are definitely worth a visit. Would definitely stay at Aurora Sol again!

The Aurora Sol is a beautiful little aparthotel located just a little away from the main area of Praia da Luz (5 mins in car) It is a well presented, well run accommodation decorated in traditional style Portuguese finishes such as terracotta flooring with blue and white pretty tiling throughout the common areas. On first impressions, the thing that is most notable is the cleanliness of the property and how beautifully presented it is. Bedrooms/bathrooms are cleaned and maintained daily and smell wonderful. Beds are made, sheets changed, and even our clothing was folded if we had left it on a chair. Beds were comfortable and linen of nice quality Pool area was situated in a beautiful garden style area, which once again was clean Staff are friendly, accommodating and welcoming. We hope to visit again soon Thank you for a pleasant stay

Marvelous facility with a superb host. It’s a beautiful hotel that is slightly strenuous walkable to the beach at Luz and the restaurants. I highly recommend.

The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. Just a little dated. Very easy to walk to the next little town to fun little bars and to walk along the water.

Lovely small hotel

Lovely place with good size rooms, parking and a wonderful swimming pool. It is better in real life than the pictures. No frills. Plenty of restaurants within 15 min walk, good Chinese food. Easy to drive into Lagos with free parking

The room and entire facility was spotless. I felt so relaxed and happy. Well maintained property. Staff friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. Not too many tourist, just 11 minutes drive from Lagos. The entire area was great if you're looking for relaxation but also if you want to do sport and seek entertainment. Thank you Aurora-Sol for making our stay exceptional.

After a long semester in university for both of us, we really needed someplace to charge our batteries. Aurora Sol was the perfect place for us. The room was top quality, the pool area was also very good with beautiful flowers and plants for decorations. The staff treated us very well and it was sad to say goodbye, they were lovely people. We were also extremely satisfied with the room service and cleaning. The ladies that worked there really did a fantastic job. Overall this place is the perfect place to go with a fairly short journey to the city centre and the beach. Thanks for having us:) - Benjamin & Inger-Anne

Initially disappointed we were 6 km from Lagos but it could not have been better. Just as the pictures show. Extremely spotless, Rui, the owner always about whether to answer all kinds of questions, cleaning around the pool or opening the door.Room was large, bed the best, shower water temp and pressure perfect. Local bus across the street to go to Lagos, 1-2 km walk to town of Luz with fantastic restaurants, beach and bars. Parking free right beside the Aurora Soi hotel. There is no breakfast but coffee/tea, a little fridge for pastry / fruit to be enjoyed on the balcony or by the pool. Stayed for 3 nights in Sept ,would definitely stay again.
