Tucked into the foothills of North Georgia, this mountain town offers more than just pretty views. The city centre square buzzes with locals swapping stories over coffee and antique hunters scoring treasures. Fainting Goat Vineyards pours generous samples while explaining how the altitude affects their wines. Hikers can tackle trails in the Chattahoochee National Forest before cooling off at Disharoon Beach. The Tater Patch Community Theatre showcases surprising talent in productions that sell out quickly. For a perfect afternoon, visit Gibbs Gardens where seasonal blooms create living paintings across 300 acres. Don't miss the apple fritters at one of the city centre bakeries – locals debate which is best with religious fervor.

Hyatt Place Atlanta / Alpharetta / Windward Parkway
"Not bad"
Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta North/Alpharetta
"You have to pay $9 - $13 for breakfast if you're not a member"
Hyatt Place Atlanta/Alpharetta/North Point Mall
"Stayed here for a concert. Great room for the price and the free shuttle to the venue was amazing. I would definitely stay here again."
The Hotel at Avalon, Autograph Collection
"Great"
Comfort Suites Woodstock - Atlanta North
"The parking is great for the size of the hotel, and it was located within a short distance of restaurants, shopping, etc. It is an older hotel and could be updated, but for the price, it was okay for the one night we were there. I did burn a candle during our stay as it was a bit stale in our room. The AC unit had a sign that read " use thermostat on the wall to adjust". However, the unit on the wall was not working (the display screen wouldn't even come on), so we definitely made use of all the blankets. The breakfast was average, but there were so many options around us for food, it didn't matter. Nothing as bad, just ok....."
WoodSpring Suites Atlanta Canton
"May I suggest a Breakfast line up?"
Hyatt Place Atlanta/Duluth/Johns Creek
"Easy check-in, room was very spacious. Walk-in shower. The location is great!!! Not in the city but near everything!!!"
Belamere Swimming Pool Suites
"I didn’t like the fact that the whirlpool or Jacuzzi didn’t blow very well and there was no microwave which is need to be, and there were no tongs for the ice and check in and check out was too late and too early"
Days Inn by Wyndham Dahlonega University Area
"Only stayed because friends needed a dog friendly hotel. Not sure if it was cleaning supplies or what but smell in lobby and rooms was awful."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Jasper
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Jasper is during January, November, and December, when hotel prices are typically lower. For a truly enriching experience of the area's landmarks, history, and cultural attractions, it is advisable to stay for at least 2 to 3 days. This duration allows visitors to explore the stunning natural parks, engage in birdwatching, appreciate local wildlife, enjoy biking, and participate in seasonal festivals, all of which are great value for money for those travelling on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Jasper, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates on hotels as your travel date approaches. You could also enable email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, helping you secure great savings. Additionally, the Smart ShoppingOpens in a new window tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're informed when rooms become available or prices drop. This way, you’re more likely to find the best hotel deal for your last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your dates may help you save on your stay in a Jasper hotel. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and sometimes a better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we’ll suggest more affordable dates, which could increase the likelihood of you securing a better deal.
- Consider your location: Opting for accommodation closer to major attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with a steeper price tag. For more budget-friendly options, you might consider staying in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to explore. Independent hotels located a bit further out are usually more likely to be affordable and can offer a more genuine experience.
