Check in was smooth and communicative. I dealt with both Gieseppe and Gianni - including before we even departed for Sicily - and had a good experience. All communications were via WhatsApp (as were all other accommodations we used in Sicily), so ensure that you have good access to data (e-sims were easy to purchase beforehand). The location is right in the main square, which can be fun and active at night, particularly on the weekends. Great location for access to various tourist locations, and within a short walk of excellent restaurants and tourist locations.

I stayed at this place for about 4 nights. The room I booked was very large with a full kitchen large bathtub and this particular room had two actual bathrooms. The place was as advertised and was very clean. The bed was fine, I usually do not book places where the bedspread is not white but took a chance on this place and it was quite clean. The coffee maker worked fine and they supplied 8 or so capsules for the nespresso compatible machine. FYI-there was no toaster or dishwasher. The views from the apartment and the balcony were quite spectacular. It was quite noisy on the square on Saturday night with fireworks at midnight, Sun-Tues was less noisy so if you are sound sensitive I would avoid this place. During the day it is quite pleasant and I was aware of the noisiness at night and so it did not bother me. The elevator worked well and there were no steps up or down to the elevator or from the elevator to get to this apartment other than the front door of the establishment which requires you to lift luggage perhaps 6 to 8 inches. The location is fantastic, right next to the theater and there was also a small general store that you could buy coffee milk and supplies that. I would definitely stay again! The drains are very slow to empty.

We have just spent 8 nights in the excellent apartment (Mondello) which is superior with city view & furnished balcony. Giuseppe kindly arranged both our airport transfers and the plans were perfect. Gianni sent me what’s app message a couple of days prior to arrival to agree meeting us at apartment with keys & answer any queries. Very helpful. Best possible location for city break. Apartment is in historic centre of Palermo next to Teatro Massimo. Just round the corner you have Via Maqueda (and 10 mins walk to Quattro Canti) which has hundreds of places to eat drink & shop. Some shops too for refreshments for apartment. We had a lovely balcony so kept buying cold drinks to enjoy there later in the day. Our apartment was very modern and spacious inside. Very good lift for your luggage. Very clean and had all amenities. Even had welcome water in fridge & small snacks & toiletries. We had a housekeeping refresh halfway through the stay. If we are luckily enough to return to Palermo, would love to stay here again. Highly recommend.

Excellent location!! You really cant be in a better area if you are staying in Palermo. It rained most of our stay over Easter 🐣 so the big apartment was a blessing to hang out in. View of Teatro di Massimo the Opera house. We saw Don Quixote ballet there. Guiseppe the owner was very helpful with a few requests and recommendations. Gianni checked us in brilliantly and communication leading up to the trip was excellent even when checking if there was a hairdryer before we left London. My only point to raise is the square is busy and a lot of noise in the evenings particularly as it was Easter week so a lot of processions and street entertainment (singing not always to our liking) and some late night youths out!! So the earplugs at the bedside table were a give away but to be honest i used them and slept fine. I really came back from the trip rested. The balcony was fabulous when it eventually stopped raining!! A real gem of a place right next to all the restaurants and shops.

The apartment was located next to the theater and main tourist area which is helpful when you need to be close and within walking distance of the sites. Everything was within a 10-15 minute walk. In the evening there could be riffraff around the vicinity but the entrance to the apartment is secured by a main front door, entry door then apartment door which made us feel safer. Communication with Gianni was easy and he gave us some suggestions on places to eat. There are many restaurants/shops around the main street to the right of the apartment- many of which are geared towards tourist traffic. Overall, a great stay with beautiful morning views of the theater. Mini fridge was helpful along with coffee machine and pods included. They also gave us a few snacks which is always appreciated!

The view from the room directly overlooked the Teatro Al Massimo. The sunsets were amazing and the room could not have been cleaner. Gianni waited over an hour for us to accommodate our early check-in. Snacks and coffee were stored in the kitchen for our use and the room was quiet— two floors above ground floor. Very beautiful location, prime spot walkable to everything very clean room very spacious a perfect experience. The balcony was a nice long balcony and was very nice to relax and still feel part of it but also in our own space. Bring earplugs because people do celebrate till early morning so if you’re a light sleeper, that could be a problem, but we enjoyed all of it even the celebrations below in the piazza.
