Great Room, Wonderful View, Delicious Bed, Well located although the front door of the building is not as nice, their is a great commercial walkway in front with great prices and very safe...I would return happily. Breakfast is nice but missing protein (no eggs).

The room was great — really big and clean. The place is perfectly located right in front of the Clock Tower. The only thing to keep in mind is that it can get a bit noisy at night, so light sleepers might notice it. Everyone was very nice and welcoming, and we were happy to stay here.

The rooms are lovely, very clean and well appointed. We had booked a deluxe room with hot tub, which was perfect for chilling out in the sunshine for a few hours each afternoon. Breakfast was simple but adequate and Juan Carlos was a lovely host. A couple of small issues; check in was a bit stressful, although we had given our details ahead of time to assist with access to the building this had not been communicated to the security guard and it was a bit of a faff to access the hotel. The other issues were room related, the door to our balcony was broken which meant it didn’t close properly meaning we could hear a lot of street noise in our room, the hotel is on a very busy road and music on the street went on until the early hours. We also had very limited hot water to the shower. Overall a good central location as a base to explore Cartagena for a few days, but I personally wouldn’t award 5*!
