15 Feb 2026Good hostel - good value. Spartan kitchen and could do with a bit more in the way of staff/cleaners, but it was a clean, decent space with comfy beds and a nice friendly vibe.

18 Jan 2026Excellent value for money: a real hidden gem in downtown rotterdam! Clean room / pod, a good night rest and flexible check-in time. I don’t need more.

14 Dec 2025Good location. Friendly and efficiency staffs. Small but well functioned kitchen. Toilets and showers are always clean. It will be really perfect if the temperature of shower water can be 2-3 degrees higher.

1 Nov 2025The hostel is clean and tidy. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The only problem is the kitchenette which is too small and almost always has a line of guests waiting to use it.

10 Dec 2025Great location. Shared community room, sometimes you need to wait before the kitchen is free. Elevator is accessible from reception, but to get there are couple of stair steps to overcome first. Rest fine.

10 Dec 2025I was quite amazed how good the hostel was, as I did not expect much for the price I paid. This is a brand newly opened hostel, so the rooms are really like pictures! Showers and toilets are clean enough. They have an elevator from the reception, first few steps to reception are stairs only. Downstairs there is a communal place with shared kitchen, simple but effective for a quick meal.

28 Jun 2026You get what you pay for. The community kitchen was small and the trash was frequently not removed, so there were flies everywhere in the kitchen and I avoided it. I was woken up at 3am one night by a front desk attendant who insisted I was in the wrong bunk until I showed him my email/QR code proving I was in the right bunk. On the plus side, the pod was fairly cool even in the middle of a heat wave, I didn’t sweat at all at night which is unusual for me in hot environments.

18 Feb 2026I recently stayed at CoolDocks in Rotterdam and had a really enjoyable time. It’s a relatively new, modern hostel right in the heart of the city, which makes it super convenient for exploring the main sights, nightlife, shops and cafés, all within walking distance.

30 Apr 2026This is a very nice place. However, the entire time I was there, they only cleaned the room once and then they told me that I had to ask to have the room cleaned and they should’ve told me that right when I checked in other than that, it was great.

10 Sept 2026Outside of the hotel didn’t feel very safe when I arrived at night - lots of people hanging around. The room I’d booked (women only) was not available so was moved into a different option. Room was very stale and dusty as had no window. Bathrooms were not clean. Aircon came on and Off throughout the night. The front desk were all very friendly, but I wanted to cancel my second night and they said only management can help with that. Management never responded to my requests.

25 Dec 2025One of the best hostel in Europe. Good location, Clean, Quiet, Awesome Staffs. With a mini kitchen which works well; with more-than-enough toilets and showers, which are all very very clean; with really good staffs who keep handling all the situations from some weird guests so hard, which make the whole place stay peace and harmonic. And, really very good price, totally worth, I had very pleasant stay for 9 nights. Special thanks to Mo and OG(萵苣), good job, you're the best. Will definitely recommend to anyone and I will be back again.

23 Jun 2025Location is just across the subway, very convenient! I slept great in the pods. Ofcourse there is some sound around you, as it is a hostel, but the pod is quite good in filtering the sound. The personnel is friendly, we could leave our luggage at check out so we could have a Korean lunch at POCHA next to the hostel. Great stay, recommended for solo traveler or a group of friends.

16 Feb 2026Friendly staff, but bring your eye mask as the dorm lights seem to stay on all night (couldn’t see any light switches and the windows aren’t covered).
The charging socket is at the foot end of the bed, which is an odd choice. The toilets were dirty and the shower barely became lukewarm. Overall it’ll do for a night if you’re on a budget but a few things could be improved.
