I had the room on the 2nd floor with the view over the lake. The room was clean and impeccable, I slept amazingly well, with no noise and a great bed. The hotel is not in the old town of Dali, but in less than an hour drive you can reach all you want and you avoid the crowds.

Disappointing Management & Unmet Standards - Refund Promised but Delayed The property failed to meet basic accommodation standards (specifically regarding cleanliness and persistent cigarette odors). Upon my immediate complaint, the owner explicitly promised a full refund in writing, and I checked out on the same day. However, the refund process via Expedia has been unnecessarily complicated. While the natural scenery in Dali is beautiful, the management here was a significant letdown.
