I stayed at Fare Vainato Beach for nine days, 1st with my cousin and then solo, and it was perfect for both. It’s very close to the beach, a 2 minute walk and the location is beautiful and peaceful—waking up to the sound of the ocean was unforgettable. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, making it easy to settle in for a longer stay. My advice is to rent a car, we didn’t realize renting a car would be required for the area as it’s difficult to get a taxi or catch a bus to explore. The hosts were welcoming and kind, creating a relaxed atmosphere throughout my visit. Whether traveling with someone or on your own, Fare Vainato Beach is a wonderful, authentic place to stay in Tahiti. I highly recommend it.
