10 Jul 2026We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and will definitely stay again. We stayed on the family room which was perfect for me and my sister as we had our own beds/rooms, but we're not far away from each other. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing. Only a 10 minute walk to the beach and town. Thank you very much Amber house for a lovely stay 😄

21 Aug 2026We had an excellent 2 night stay at Amber House. It was a spacious room with a sea view and had lots of little extras included-biscuits, assorted teas, coffees, hot chocolate and toiletries. Large television with good choice of channels and nice chairs to sit on. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice including dairy and wheat free which I need. Best bowl of fruit salad we’ve had anywhere. There is a small library of books and lots of DVD’s for use on wet days. The only minor niggle was we forgot to bring our own special pillows and theirs weren’t quite as comfortable. We will be back plus pillows.

TV/DVD in rooms with communal dvd borrowing a great idea. Good location, very close to Goodrington and Paignton. Will definitely be coming back.

1 May 2026Breakfast was good, the location was convenient, the staff was friendly, and parking was adequate. I believe I was the only guest in the house at the time, so they forgot to turn on the heat until I complained the second night there.
