23 Sept 2026Location was great, restaurant and bar were nice as well. My room specifically the safe I guess the person who stayed before thought it would be funny to leave the key inside the lockbox so I wasn’t able to utilise it. Room service did a great job at doing the beds and replacing towels but not really at dusting. There were several dust bunnies around even after they would finish. But overall great location, the staff is brilliant and helpful.

14 Jun 2026We had a great stay at Nanny's Duleek. It was a perfect location for exploring the Boyne Valley. Food and drinks at the restaurant were excellent. Pub was very lively with friendly people. The room was small, but we didn't spend much time there. Rooms 1-9 are above the lounge with live music, so it was loud on Saturday night. Just stay at the bar until closing time or bring good earplugs. Loved it, we will be back.

25 Mar 2026Nanny's was a nice hotel, checking in was super easy, parking was good and our room was clean and comfortable. The one issue we had was the noise from the bar downstairs was incredibly loud. We stayed over on a Saturday night and they had a band playing (which sounded great). Unfortunately the music continued till after midnight and my kids and I had a difficult time sleeping.

12 Oct 2025Even though out heat didn’t work, didn’t really need it and the TV didn’t work, hanging out downstairs in the pub with the wonderful people made up for everything. You must realize that this hotel and the guest rooms are directly over the pub and you will hear the live music until late. The best meal we had in Ireland was here.

22 Jun 2026The location’s proximity to Newgrange was great, and parking at the hotel was very convenient. We had dinner at the pub, food was good.
I wish there was breakfast included, but there was a small coffee shop close by, and a convenience store very close with coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and plenty of options.
The room itself was clean and appeared freshly renovated, but there were no luggage racks and nowhere to place our toiletries on the pedestal sink. A shelf above or near the sink would be very helpful.
We were placed in what appeared to be a “family room”, with a double bed, plus an extra double/single bunk bed. This would be good if you had children traveling with you, but the height of the top bunk was quite close, I do not think anyone other than a small child could sit up without banging their head, and again no place to put your things. The room was very warm and there was no thermostat.
Check in and out was very easy, and the people we spoke with were friendly enough.

27 Sept 2025Nanny’s had the best rooms of our entire 12 night vacation. They were modern, had large (queen) comfortable beds, had great showers and shower pressure, and there was a lovely pub downstairs.
The only complaint is walls are thin, and you can hear everything in the room next to you. We didn’t have neighbors, so we were fine, but our traveling companions could hear their neighbors turning the bedside light switch on and off among other noise. That’s why I travel with earplugs.
I would easily stay here again. Only 35 minutes to Dublin Airport, so not a bad place to stay before a flight.
We had dinner at Tribe. Fantastic pizzas and next to the stunning Duleek Abbey ruins.
We didn’t have time, but I wish we could have visited the prehistoric sight of Newgrange nearby.
Aside from thin walls, this place was absolutely excellent.
