This vineyard hotel has thought of everything, from a cinema room, sauna, hot tub, pool to the onsite pizzeria & restaurant. We opted for the special asado menu which was amazing with our own private chef & 6 courses alongside fabulous wine - it doesn’t get any better!

Wonderful small boutique hotel. Made to feel very welcome and the hotel assisted us with our plans around the area. Highly recommended.

El Aguamiel is absolutely wonderful - the setting, spacious rooms, tranquil pool area, and most of all the hosts! Melissa and Faustino are absolutely fantastic, the sweetest humans, and made us feel right at home. Everyone working there was so helpful with recommendations and anything we needed. We would certainly come back here, we had the best 4 night stay. I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Melissa and Faustino

Beautiful gardens and common areas. Excellent breakfast with good gluten free options. Welcoming, helpful staff. A few things didn't work, e.g., front gate, TV in our room.

This is the perfect hotel to discover the vineyards of Mendoza. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean while the setting is beautiful, located right in the heart of this great wine making area. Hans, the owner is a fantastic host and helped us arrange all aspects of our trip. We arrived late the first day so relaxed in the vineyard drinking a bottle of Hans' lovely Cavieres wine. The 2nd day we took the bikes from the hotel and visited a few of the great local vineyards. The 3rd day Hans...

I love the facilities both for leisure,fitness and dining options at this hotel. The onsite amenities are excellent. The staff and management are excellent. There is lots to do nearby and it is so easy to go to Maipu or to Mendoza and steep yourself in this wine region. The bedrooms are excellent the ones facing the mountains have awsome views. I would sugguest booking one of the larger rooms on offer as they are excellent value. Also treat yourself to a massage or one of the treatments on offer...

The front desk reception was excellent. He was similar to a concierge at a 5 star hotel. Researched transportation options for us and mapped out a walking tour of the highlight of Mendoza. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and most importantly welcoming and friendly. We definitely recommend Umbral Aconcagua.

Clean room and helpful staff.

We were unfamiliar with the posada concept but recommend it warmly. The room was spacious and comfortable with a small kitchen. The garden is lovely and has a clean pool. The staff were exceptionally helpful and went the extra mile to look after their guests. Instead of serving breakfast, guests receive vouchers for a group of cafes nearby. It was a thoroughly good system that worked very well. I’d definitely go back if I visit Mendoza again. Thank you, all.

5 stars for everything. For a budget hotel, the cleanliness, size, and amenities of the hotel were brilliant! We will definitely stay here every time we come back to visit Mendoza! Bonus points for the lovely pool and gardens where you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine and mate in the evening!
