20 Oct 2026No in-room coffee, and the coffee at the June Bug restaurant was poor. The food at the June Bug however was excellent! Lots of steps and tight parking spaces, but if you don't mind those, you can't beat the location for a Yosemite Park stay. Also very close to Mariposa, where you can find nice bars, restaurants and coffee shops.

5 Oct 2026The lodge was great for us. We slept on a comfortable bed, shower was clean. They have a washer/dryer on-site that we used along with a remote kitchen. They were actively maintaining the facilities for safety and ease of use. Restaurant was really good but they could’ve had a cheeseburger on the evening menu.
We would definitely recommend!

10 Oct 2026This a mainly a hostel a little further from Yosemite, but we were given a really nice room with a beautiful artistic canopy bed and decor. The restaurant was very nice. On our shared patio we met a couple of women staying in the next cabin. It had bunk beds and slept 4. You had to share a common refrigerator and microwave if needed with all of the hostel guests. Wonderful people from all over. It was a very pleasant stay.

12 Oct 2026Great mountain lodge and experience. We had a cabin room with en-suite. It was a simple room and the decor dated BUT we really enjoyed the setting in the woods and set up. Beds comfortable. Restaurant on-site was great - mountain lodge style, comfort food (ribs excellent), welcoming, games to play. No drink facilities in room but there is a fridge and access to a communal kitchen. Good base to explore Yosemite.

9 Jul 2026Best thing was that it was near the El Portal entrance to Yosemite National Park. Parking was a nightmare especially if you arrive later in the evening. Room was eclecticly decorated. Bathroom was newer and shower was nice.

12 Apr 2026This is a wonderful “family camp” style place to stay. It’s affordable, and close to Yosemite, and offers rooms with multiple beds. But be aware that it’s very much a camp vibe - not hotel or resort. Workers and guests are friendly. Food is good and served in large portions. Overall we enjoyed its rustic charms.

22 May 2026We had a great stay here! The rooms were spacious with a charming, old-school feel. The location is about an hour’s drive from Yosemite Valley in Mariposa, set in a truly gorgeous area.
The restaurant served amazing food at very good value for money, especially the trail lunch pack, which was both affordable and incredibly well prepared. The cheap laundry facilities were also very convenient during our stay.
The staff were extremely helpful and offered plenty of great recommendations for things to do in Yosemite Valley, which we really appreciated.
Would highly recommend this place!

24 May 2026This was surprise. You hooked a left and zoomed down some windy roads to and up on a hill top surrounded by beautiful trees. It felt like I had gone back to outdoor school The people were great and food was good ! Room was comfy and clean. Very rustic !

11 Jul 2026Everything was awesome, the only gripe I have is that we went to use the spa at 10pm, an hour before they close and we were still charged the full price of the day pass of $20 each. So, we paid 40 dollars to use the hot tub for an hour. I get it but also, I think there should be acceptations for people who check in late and leave early. Besides that, the rooms were awesome, very well kept. Super comfy beds, the food at the cafe was yummy, coffee was great. I would come back here!

11 Mar 2026Clean and quiet room, very comfortable bed. Helpful staff. This is a hillside property so there are steps in various places. So nice to have a restaurant on-site. I hope to try the hot tub and massage next time.
