A wonderful hidden gem...the property itself is very spacious, stylish and well equipped. The views from the patio area are stunning and it is incredibly quiet.
Vaite looked after us amazingly well and made sure our last day in French Polynesia before returning home was extra special. Since it is far away from Tahiti, it is probably best to rent a car to explore the area as there is a lot to see.
We wanted somewhere to spend the day after arriving early on a cruise and flying out only at 2345. Many hotels offered limited and expensive day pass options, or a night booking with check-in around 1400!
This was a $40 taxi ride but a nice, simple but comfortable guest house with great views. Nice outside areas. Small pool. Our room was available by 1030, and was roomy and clean. Food was available from a limited menu. Friendly and helpful staff. Only negatives. A/C in the bedroom struggled in...
Very helpful in allowing us early entry after an early morning arrival in Papeete. We were able to wait around the pool area, in the shade, until our room was ready, before the normal,11 am check in time. No problem either with a 5am check out.
The room was nice, spacious enough, with a fan that did the job at keeping you cool. Housekeeping came to clean the rooms every day, the toilet and shower were good and maintained! The staff were lovely and accommodating, very helpful and attentive to any questions we had.
There is a supermarket a short bus ride away or a less than 5 min car drive- a bit too far to walk in the heat though. There isn’t really much around in terms of dining options so we made food our selves.
