    We paid for the King size bed and ocean view room on Expedia but when we checked in we were told that the king bed was a request and not guaranteed. The woman at the front said only two queens were available. I asked if we can upgrade because we paid for the king and she said she will check back later at 3pm when the rooms are ready. Turns out they did upgrade us to the villa for free. And that was the way to go! It’s way more private and spacious with upgraded amenities. They let us look at the other room in the hotel too but we picked the villa. The pool and building itself was great. The beach was warm and the sand is pretty clean and smooth. We loved the pool bartenders, shoutout to David and Fredy! My boyfriend and I stayed for 3 nights but we were told all the dinner reservations were booked for one of the nights. We tried checking back throughout the day but apparently no one canceled so we had to eat at the buffet, which was ok. The hibachi restaurant was good. The Mexican was ok, could have used more flavor. We never got to try the steakhouse or Italian. So I’m not sure when people are booking these but we tried to book right when we got our room number and they were already fully booked. Overall, we had a great experience!

    This property was beautiful and the staff were very nice. The food was GREAT, however, this is not a place to go if you want a nice, quiet and relaxing and or romantic vacation. The music was loud and it went on late into the night.
