Our experience at Dolan's was great! When we arrived, they had no hydro due to a blown transformer in the area, which meant they had no record of a booking but the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating and still set us up with a room. The room was beautiful and well taken care of and maintained.

Although the exterior can be deceiving as it needs a little lipstick, the rooms were fantastic. Spacious, great amenities, newly renovated, fresh and clean. When we checked in they had everything ready for us so it was literally under a minute. The lady at the front desk was very kind.

From the outside it looks sketchy. Weeds, junk laying around. But the rooms were great. Clean, comfortable a little kitchenette that had everything one would need. Large TV, comfortable beds. Location was good for the downtown area, Tim Hortons, Sobeys and the ferry to PEI. Would stay there again. The lady there was very nice and did a wonderful job.

Check in was fine. There was a note on the door with a number to call and the person came very quickly to get us a key. The room was quite clean however there were 2 huge spiders and an earwig as soon as we went in the bathroom and a few more creatures this morning. The beds were comfortable though. It was quite overpriced in our opinion but with limited hotels there wasn't many options.

When I booked Dolen’s Inn and Suites I thought it was an Inn, not an old weathered motel with a blue metal roof. The pictures I saw were not of where we ended up. It was clean enough but certainly not what I thought we were getting. It worked for the night.

Just came back from a vacation in Canada. We stayed at 6 different hotels/motels. Dolan's was easily the worst. Bugs all over our room, including a spider on the bed. Outside was not pleasing to the eye at all, with even some rotting wood along the staircase and a rocky parking lot, but they had chairs outside so you could watchthe traffic go by.. One of us happened to have the misfortune to step in a present that a dog left in the parking area and we're thinking that it was a property dog the way it was just roaming around the property. The temp control on the wall didn't seem to have any effect on the radiators. It was a cold night. Wondered the next day if maybe the window air conditioner would have been the heat source for the room. But, with nobody in the office by early afternoon there was no one to ask. Maybe even a little note left in the room would have helped. Thankfully it was only for one night. Even a little false advertising. They make it sound like water view rooms were available, but we learned that it wasn't at this Dolan property but the Dolan Inn.
