Our room in this older hotel was clean, and the king bed was very comfortable. When we checked in, we found that the type of room that we were getting, was not what we thought we were booking through Expedia. The clerk was so helpful, calling the manager to get it straightened out. We really appreciated their help. All the staff were great. We were disappointed in the breakfast, and wished for an exercise room. But they did have a nice outdoor pool and safe parking.

We couldn’t get a room in Pittsburg and stumbled across this gem. Extremely clean, newly remodeled, very quiet and right off the road. The staff was so kind and friendly. The rooms have working space and amazing showers. There are stairs and no elevator but they’re not extremely steep.

Check-in took a while as the motels credit card reader would not communicate with the PC at the check in desk. Room was clean, bathroom clean but quite small and complimentary was ok but not great as other views have indicated.

No ice machine on the second level. You will have to walk half down the hallway of the first level to get any ice. No WiFi. Morning coffee is ok, breakfast is mediocre at best. Property is dated. Mostly fresh paint over old finish work and fence around pool. Property is next to an overpass on the interstate. Very noisy. Their rates fluctuate by season and demand. I would only stay here if the rate is cheap enough to sacrifice lack of adequate amenities. There are better properties within 25 miles. 2-3 times per year we check their price and end up staying in Pittsburg Kansas.

Way overpriced, terrible WiFi and a lady really didn’t care about my concern. I need reliable internet for my job, she didn’t care. Cannot thermostat below 70 degrees on one of the hottest days of the year. AC fan would stay on, if you enjoy tractor trailers noise, it’s the best place ever.
