The room was nasty,it smelled like throw up Not to mention the wash cloths where all stained up ,The bathtub need a good scrub over all ,we went somewhere else..!!!!

Comfortable room with all the amenities we needed including fridge and microwave. Wifi did not work but we were able to use the dsta off our phone. We also used our own things for brrakfast though a light breakfast was offered to us.

From the outside of the property, it does not look like much. Do not let that fool you. The room was completely remodeled. Tiled floors, fresh paint, new tube and counters. Very clean. The wireless Internet was poor, and it was useless. Other than that, if you just need a place to rest your eyes, this is a good option. The manager / owner was very friendly. Overall a good experience.

The creepy gnome of doom didn't actually kill us in our sleep, that's a good thing. The fact that the breakfast wasn't available one day, and they locked the outside door so you couldn't get to it the next day was disappointing, and thus not a good thing. The free WiFi- you get what you pay for. It was so slow as to be useless. The staff was very nice and the room was clean. For $50 a night you can't ask for much more.

The property was convenient and inexpensive. The grounds were a bit outdated but the rooms inside were very nice. My biggest issue was with the internet. It functioned very poorly in the evening. My guess is it was not adequate for the size of the crowd. It did work fairly well the next morning. I would stay here again but I will set up a wifi hotspot.

I called ahead to let property owner, who lives on property, know I’d be checking in late. Waited seven hours for a 2nd spare. The motel owner was put out and very angry for my late arrival.
The room walls are painted cinderblock. Don’t go to office for “light buffet” before 9:30-10:00 this will upset the owner as welll.

* iffy Wi-Fi - spotty at the best of times
* gap between the door and threshold, allowing rain to seep into the room

The building is old but overall well maintained. We didn’t try the continental breakfast so I can’t review that. We did get in around midnight and the manager was very accommodating. Overall if I came back to Hugo I would stay there if I needed to.
