Algoma is a beautiful tourist town that offers wonderful food options and lots of nightlife fun. We drove up through Door County to site see, after seeing (craziness) all the people, traffic, higher prices, we were so happy to get back to Algoma.

Cute town. Ate at 311 Bistro and really liked it. Got breakfast at Caffe Tlazo and really liked that too! The boardwalk along the beach is very nice. We really enjoyed being by Lake Michigan.... feels like being near the ocean!

"My family (kids& dogs) stayed one night at this charming old world roadside motel. There is no desk staff on the property but the check in process was very easy, they sent a very informative text message prior to our stay. The rooms have been thoughtfully updated while maintaining that vintage charm. The location is a short drive to downtown Algoma. We went to breakfast at Caffé Tlazo, which I would highly recommend. I would be happy to stay here again. "
"Everything was booked in Sturgeon Bay, so we wound up here, at this Best Western. It was fine. But that was it. It's a bare bones hotel that has NO FRILLS. No soap dish. No fluffy towels. The lighting throughout the holtel is really, really bad. A few adjustments would make this Best Western a Better Western. Hire an interior designer to upgrade some stuff. It was clean. The Cheerios were fresh. "

"Our room was comfy, clean, and quiet. The hotel's in a pretty good spot. Breakfast was surprisingly good and tasty. Checking in and out was a breeze."
"Great location for us. Pool and hot were clean as was sauna. Hallways were clean, bathroom and room were spotless. Breakfast offered all the usual characters and all at the correct temperature "
"A beautiful, no frills little spot with a million dollar lake view! Kari and Dave provide very comfortable accommodations and a delicious breakfast daily. Close to Algoma, Kewaunee and the Door: this made for a perfect getaway spot."
