Very nice hotel, room was lovely and specious and clean and the staff very friendly which made the stay enjoyable.

Cheapest hotel in that area, very nice too. Lovely garden and fountain. Few good restaurants nearby. Next to Luxembourg for a nice day out.

Everything was as expected. Clean, tidy pleasant staff, liked that we could get a takeaway coffee after breakfast. The only issue is the location, it's a one way system with limited parking outside the hotel. My recommendation if you can't see spaces pull up outside the reception doors check in and you can pay for a barriered car parking space otherwise you'll have a 10 minute loop to get to the hotel. I would use the hotel again, 15/20 minute walk to the centre

MOTORCYCLE ROAD TRIP Parking available in an open courtyard near the main entrance which is out-of-site. Positives: Very comfortable bed, quiet location, excellent shower, big towels, free coffee machine in lobby, fantastic air con, superb breakfast, BBC News on TV and only a 15 minute walk over the Roman bridge into the old town. Negatives: no lift - but not really an issue. No bar or restaurant - but a Snack Hut across the road. Would I return - absolutely yes.

Good value Walking distance to cafes and restaurants

I enjoyed a very relaxing night here after a long trip. The surrounding area is quiet. With beautiful surrounding views. The owners were extremely welcoming, and my evening meal and breakfast in the morning was excellent. I wish the owners and there family every success for the future.

Stayed in family room above the pizza restaurant. Both the room and the pizza were a big hit with the kids.

Charming hotel with a microbrewery and beergarden. Some aspects are a little dated, but everything is spotless and well maintained. Rooms have a pleasant country house feel. Situated a few km out of Trier, it's walkable to town (around 40 mins). Surrounded by steep green slopes of riesling vineyards it's a peaceful place to stay. We ate at the restaurant, where there was a nice buzz on a Friday evening. Vegetarian/vegan meals are available alongside hearty biergarten dishes as well as craft beer...

Receptionist very funny and undertands jokes. Dinner very nice, but that led to dissappointing breakfast
