Great bar with wonderful views of Bagkok
We were here for a couple of days with our 2 teenage sons and had a great time. The penthouse bar is really cool and we liked the infinity pool overlooking Bagkok. The service was very good as was the view from the bedrooms as well.

Impeccable service!
I'd like to thank the staff for perfecting my stay in many ways. Honestly, a beautiful hotel would be nothing if it didn't have attentive and quick-thinking staff. I consider myself a pretty fussy guests but the staff were able to meet all my requests. I was given a late check-out and I asked housekeeping to make my bed again so I could nap on a nicely-made bed after breakfast. They practically cleaned up my room and even restocked the toiletries. WOW! Thank you! The food at Penthouse Grill was amazing too and I'm comparing it against the New York Grill in Tokyo. One thing I do have to complain about is the lack of hot shower facilities by the pool. I noticed quite a few guests were saying the water was cold and they were right. I am athletic and I enjoy taking long swim (at least one hour). I was freezing after my swim but the shower by the pool was only lukewarm. I had to endure AC-ed hallways before arriving at my room. Park Hyatt is right at the TOP
My elderly parents and I took 2 connecting rooms for our last leg of family holiday. We had already stayed at the very good Okura Prestige but the Park Hyatt is clearly in an even higher league. The design and furnishing of the hotel is right up there; minimal, classy and refined- but what really blew us away was the warm sincere care with which the staff treated us; especially my parents. Huge compliments to Henry who checked us in; and Save who checked us out. Both gentlemen went the extra mile to make our stay the best possible and thanks to them and their colleagues, I would return to the hotel without hesitation the next time I am in BKK. Only small glitch would be some of the wait staff, even the Caucasian ones could improve their attentiveness and service attitude. My waffles took 20 minutes, 1 mistaken pancakes ( which most definitely are not waffles!) and 3 reminders with no clear apology before arriving. But this drop in standard was only felt at the breakfast dining area- the rest of the staff are really super.

Exceeds expectations - fantastic stay!
Given how often I go to Bangkok, I’ve stayed at a whole lot of the top five star hotels in the city and I think I’ve found my new favourite. This time we were spending a long weekend in Bangkok just to chill and enjoy the city. The Park Hyatt is simply amazing overall. Rooms Our suite was fantastic - beautiful views of the city and top notch luxurious decor. It might not be as designed as The Siam but it was certainly more comfortable - so pleasant I was seriously considering extending our stay. Location We tried not to stay at Siam despite all the shopping and amenities in the area because traffic is usually horrendous in the area, so we picked the Park Hyatt with location in mind - a stone’s throw away in Ploen Chit. The mall downstairs is more upscale and nice to walk in. Beats the other two hotels I really liked (The Peninsula and The Siam) hands-down on location for sure. Service I’d give it a 6/5 if I can, service was simply perfect and exceeded my already-very-high expectations. Could not fault them at all. The in-room check in was a welcome personal touch and they were really good at booking impossible-to-book places for us. Special thanks to Nat and Tequila at the front desk and dude who served us breakfast (sorry didn’t get your name!) - they were absolute stars. (Ok I have to admit, the complimentary welcome mango sticky rice (so yummy and so fresh! Vs tired looking fruit platter commonly found in other Bkk hotels...) really set them apart...)

Pleasant stay
Very good overall. The only unsatisfactory thing is at the first night of our stay, the music downstairs was so loud and only stopped after 11:00pm. It is totally unexpected.
