i liked how sustainable the hotel is trying to be.
Instead of offering bottled water to their guests, they gave us a huge water bottle with a tap connected to it, so we could fill the kettle and boil our water for drinking if needed. the room and facility are clean and comfortable.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
However, my companions and I found that the restaurant where we had our breakfast was somewhat lacking. the restaurant is open for breakfast from 6 a.m. - 10 a.m.. and when we went down at 9 a.m., the buffet was about empty already. I can understand if it's 30mins before 10 am but not an hour. it's inexcusable.
We went down at 8 a.m. the next day. The buffet was also, almost empty. cold cuts were empty, the porridge was already finished. the sausages and bacon were also gone. we asked for a top-up for the porridge and waited for the others to be topped up. but when they top up the porridge, it was cold. the miso soup that we expected to be hot, was lukewarm. the chefs and service staff should at least maintain the buffet and not leave empty pots and cold food for their guests to eat, especially not early in the morning.
Dinner at La Bella Vita however, was excellent. The food was fast, the service was good and so was the ambience.
