Requires updating, very dated and dingy. Unfortuately road noise can't be avoided, but consideration needs to be given to noise reduction. The ear plugs are a nice touch, but gosh, probably the worst park I've stayed in. Cabin was old, damaged and dirty.

I would stay again
The cabin was very nice and everything was clean. The kids enjoyed the giant jumping pillow. The staff were friendly. The park toilet facilities were clean. The location of the park is convenient. There is some traffic noise from the Hume Freeway but it didn't bother me and my cabin was at the front of the park closest to the Hume. It may bother some people.

The cabins were small, bedroom positively pokey - we had to turn sideways and slide along to get into bed. The wall surfacing was coming off in some places and patchy in others. The hot water was DANGEROUSLY hot - there was a real danger of scalding! The toaster was too small to take the average slice of bread. The bed was very comfortable, and we were glad to get into it after several hours on hard, ugly wooden chairs!

Easy booking and check in with very friendly and helpful staff. When we opened our cabin they had put the heating on for us so it was nice and warm, nice touch. The cabin was spacious and well laid out, the furniture and bed were very comfortable. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Small caravan park but just what we needed for an overnight rest from driving back to Melbourne. Cabin walls were extremely thin.
Every movement our kids made on their bunk bed and any slight wind can be heard. Bed was very comfortable.

Yeah, ok.
Stayed here overnight on our road trip. When we arrived, reception was closed (5pm), which left us somewhat confused as the booking had been accepted and we saw others retrieving keys from a security box. We had not received any notification re a code. Luckily our phone still had (minimal) charge so we were able to contact the ‘other services’ no. displayed on window. The receptionist arrived promptly and could not have been more apologetic, helpful and super friendlly. The booking had come through now after the computer was checked, so all good. We had booked a 1 bedroom cottage which was fine for an overnighter, but the van park definitely needs an upgrade when it comes to these units. They are old, tired looking and in need of renovation, maybe a lick of paint, but everything was working and we had everything we needed. The area was fine, with a pub/tavern with large servings a 12 minute walk down the road. The highway is very close, but the noise was minimal. All good. Advice: just get a villa instead of the 1 bedroom cottage, which we paid $123+ for. Maybe Big4 should drop the price until these older units are renovated. Big4 expectation is always high. Still, no complaints re stay for one night.
