Very happy with this hotel. We chose it as it’s close to the Camino. Location is very central in Melide. We had a wonderfully big room which was beautifully decorated and modern with nice touches. Bed was nice and big. Great shower and big jet bath on our room. Downstairs was a washer/drier (€8 for a wash and tumble dry) which was very useful as we are half way through our Camino walk. My booking was very last minute but the manager took it all in his stride. Excellent customer service in a beautifully restored hotel. The hotel was absolutely fabulous and set in such a very pleasantly peaceful and calming location surrounded by wonderful views.

I was the only person staying at this hotel which was a bit disconcerting as it really is in thr middle of nowhere - about 1.3 km off the camino. But it is excellent. The staff could not have been nicer, and more accommodating. Even though i was the only person staying, they still put out the full dinner and breakfast buffet. I was treated like a king! Beautiful surroundings and opulent, spacious rooms, quirky facilities. The only thing that let this place down was the dinner. For 29 Euro per person, my cod was so salty it was inedible and my husband did not finish his undercooked burgers either. It's a shame because they have all the elements to make it a 5* experience.

I was in the middle of my camino and decided to stay somewhere special. I have to say the hospitality of Eduardo and his staff was excellent. The accommodation was really exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, simple home cooked and made to a high standard. It is Galicia at its best!!
A sanctuary in the rural part of northern Spain. Off the Santiago trail. We missed they had transfer between the trail and the hotel so we walked. But it was a magnificent trek to the place. The hotel is a peaceful little gem emerged in nature. Service couldn’t be better. Felt like coming home. Smiles and helpful people. Food probably the best we’ve had on the entire trail.
