We always stop over here on our way to Victoria Falls. OK, it is off the main drag but it is worth the dirt road for the fine location - a rural retreat. Well run, well furnished and for a travelling couple, just right!

Enjoyed sitting by the pool watching wildlife. Nice clean tents.

I used Mowana as a fishing lodge a few years back, my brother spent time at Katima Mulilo and said to me that I should visit this area, I did not till after he died of pancreatic cancer. The Chobe bewitched me when I did go and as a bucket list item for myself with bile duct cancer I have just returned to try and show my wife this area in a period of 4 days. achieved using Pyrus Eagles helicopter charter and Dream Safaris boat and guide charter.

Amazing staff at a rustic style hotel. The pool was great but I would have loved a comfy seat outside in the extensive gardens. Great breakfast to start the day. Massive double storey room with limited AC.

Arrived early and were cheerily checked in at once. Lovely room with kitchenette. We thought we were getting a king bed plus sofa bed, but the manageress got the maid to make up 2 singles so we both slept well. Well stocked kitchen: only thing that stopped a 10/10 score was lack of oven (we did not notice this before shopping and ended up googling how to cook pizza without one on our second night there!). Fabulous deep bath. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Not in Maun centre (across the...
