The whole resort is like living in a postcard. It's just so beautiful and the staff were all super friendly and happy especially at the beach bar and around the beach, always passing small bites of food to try and iced water to keep you hydrated. Our only negatives were one night there were a few small flying bugs enter our OWB from seemingly nowhere. But that was gone the next day so the cleaners must have noticed. One of the best hotels you could ever stay at. Fantastic environment and amenities. Any room you pick would be fantastic. Highly recommend the half board, great food options. It can come across as quite a pretentious place but it is absolutely stunning and a once in a lifetime stay

This might be the best hotel in French Polynesia. It’s stunning. A beautiful location, far from the crowds and a really exceptional hotel after the recent refurb. The room was immaculate, the pool is beautiful and relaxing and there is plenty to do and explore. The food was very good and the service impeccable. Nothing too much trouble. I would recommend this to anyone as the definition of 5*. we stayed in a few places across the islands and this was the standout highlight.

Most staff v nice. Some seemed to be very reserved which didn’t always come over as friendly. BUT would definitely recommend. Yes it’s expensive but not silly money. We were pleasantly surprised at cost of food and drinks. Lovely quiet and relaxing. Overwater bungalows a must. We had a few showers but they passed in a matter of minutes

AMAZING STAY!!!! We stayed in a horizon view over water bungalow and everything about it was superb. The bed was so comfortable, a pillow menu if you're into that. The staff are friendly and helpful (apart from one concierge who never had a name badge on but she always seemed like she couldn't be bothered) The location is perfect, you face east so watch the sun rise. An amazing location and honeymoon destination! The staff are always willing to help, be it to organise activities, advise on dinner plans or simply to arrange a lift to and from your villa in a golf cart! The breakfast buffet is extensive and the private ocean view villa we had was very spacious...not as much of a wow factor as the overwater bungalows but bigger (and cheaper!) Don't think you could get a better service at any of the other resorts in Bora Bora. Only downside is that...

Hotel/Resort stunning. Room was amazing especially view and layout/facilities. Buggy service to/from room was slow. Food prices expensive but in line with expectations. Drink prices (esp. cocktails) however were absurdly expensive especially as hotel staff did not understand wine (red wine chilled ! and often oxidised) and non fresh cocktail ingredients - no fresh orange juice in entire resort. There is nothing I did not like about this resort. It sits in the perfect location, minutes away from the airport, with a smooth sail across the ocean. I loved that the beach is private, so no bother from anyone selling products. I met a lot of friendly hotel staff who went above and beyond, Heikalani being one if them. I absolutely loved my villa. I thought it was going to be bigger but still perfect and with a pool, great touch! Mauruuru Le Bora Bora!

Great resort....there are 4 major resorts in Moorea (Hilton, Sofitel, Intercontinental & Manava) and whilst being smaller than the others, Manava has an authentic charm...plus it has the best infinity pool. Stayed at Intercontinental Tahiti before cruise and Sofitel after the cruise - nobody should stay at the Intercontinental but go to Sofitel.

Fabulous location, over the water room brilliant. Service was excellent, so friendly helpful and kind, nothing was missed from reception to bar,beach and restaurants. Mauruuru. Special mention of Online, conceige, who handled a significant reservation matter professionally and thoughtfully to ensure we had a great stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved every second of it! The staff really make this place - we have never met such kind, genuine and smiley happy people. You couldn't help but smile yourself. The room was big, with everything you need. The only thing that could be improved is slightly more privacy around the ground floor rooms.
