"The key reason of staying here is the safari drives and seeing the animals. And this did not disappoint!!! Our guide Vestment was absolutely incredible! He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and got us up close and personal with so many animals. We had the best pictures and videos of all the animals we wanted (except for the elusive cheetah). The luxury tents were nice, but we were there during a very hot period so spent much mid-day time in the pool. The food was really good with nice options...

Nell was a knowledgeable and engaging guide and we saw all the animals we wanted to see and more - amazing sightings of elephants, rhinos, leopards and lions to name a few. "Thabamati is my most favourite place where i stayed in my 6 weeks travelling. Lorna, Kurbis, Oscar and all the staff was outstanding! Without them the place would not feel as homey as it did but would still ve amazing. It's in the middle of Timbavati Private reserve, only 4 luxurious tents with view of a pond. One evening the housekeeping prepared me a bath, so thoughtful. The game drives where not to miss. We saw absolutely everything, Oscar went out of his way to find it and Kurbis answered...
