Breakfast was delicious!! Fresh fruits, muesli, cereal, toast, preserves, little quiches. Dinner also good. Its a quite little gem, spacious rooms with air con, fridge. Comfy bed, massive bathroom.views are breaytaking and the pool provides a lovely cooling dip.
A wonderfully laid back and relaxing stay, just what was required to recharge the batteries.
Lots of swimming and walking! We ate at the hotel every night, having tried other restaurants on previous visits, we think its just not worth the extra effort when the food at our restaurant is fresh local and well prepared.
Met some great new people and renewed old acquaintances from previous years. wi fi in rooms a bonus but not sure about the new colour changing lights!
We quite often stay here when we are on our way to carriacou, this time we chose to stay there while we waited for our covid results so we were not allowed out of our rooms and had to rely on room service which really worked well

OMG - oh my glamping! Have never ‘Glamped’ before so the bar has been set high. Wasn’t expecting it to be ‘so solid’, with sliding doors! Appreciated the firm mattress and AC in the bedroom, The airport shuttle is great idea, in the day time I could see how close to the airport I was but my flight was delayed and I wouldn’t hated to try & find my way after dark. Felt safe in the area, went walking around, some very steep hilly roads and pathways but the locals all greeted me and were friendly....
This place is like nowhere anyone will have experienced before. Its not actually that far from the nearest towns but it feels worlds away.
Originally built by slaves on the edge of the forest, its been modernised to facilitate all essential needs. The garden is made up of mature shrubs and trees which is enjoyed by plentiful birdlife. The forest walk takes you past an incredible variety of plantation trees and bushes. A real taste of Colonial life
We stayed in the Premium apartment - there are 2 smaller units on either side which can be booked for a larger party. The premium apartment has a fantastic covered porch area with views over both bays and many seating options. It has a huge indoor seating area which we were pleased not to use, as we sat outside until bedtime.
We had a tasty dinner on a couple of evenings, cooked by Abigail, which is an easy and very local option for food.
It was a short one-night stay and it exceeded our expectations. We didn’t have time to take advantage of the amenities, but the room was clean and everything was in good condition. There was a good en suite with a decent shower, a small but fully functional kitchen area, as well as a small sitting room. We’d visit again.
To say this stay was amazing is an understatement.

As you will probablly read in several reviews, the hotel is a bit dated but it is fine unless you want your modern faceless corporate hotels. The staff are really friendly and helpful, it is right on a beautiful beach, much nicer than Grande Anse and a good couple of beach bars. Try the restaurant at the top of the hill. It is lovely. I wouldn't hesitate in booking this on a great island. We travelled to 12 islands and this was one of our favouritesthe
The hotel was right on the beach, the staff were very courteous and the service was excellent. The amenities were available for all guest who wanted to do some scuba diving or just snorkelling.
I would recommend the Coyaba beach resort to anyone who would like a fantastic time in Grenada.
