I was unexpectedly happy with this hotel. The shuttle bus brought me anywhere within 2 miles, which included everywhere I wanted to visit and had pick up points to bring me back. I did not have to negotiate parking around the city

Despite booking a king size room months before the stay property did not have a king room available. In addition it is pet friendly which is not a problem however the hallways in the rooms are carpeted. Are room had an animal odor to it probably coming from the carpet. We were too tired to request a new room. Also why they advertise free coffee you have to sit down and order breakfast to get the free cup of coffee, pretty misleading. In addition loud banging sounds could be heard starting around 8:00 in the morning, we had a late night the night before attending a local concert so the early loud banging was very much not appreciated. Overall kind of an older dingy hotel which should have the dark carpeting removed to avoid the odors.

This was our second stay. Both times, we had issues with the toilet running to the point where we had to turn the water supply off to sleep. It also took a long time to get hot water. It is a great location for the Riverwalk and the Straz theater.

Very Nice Hotel
We had a wonderful stay. Stayed here to go on our cruise. It was a quick drive to the port. The hotel was very clean and we ordered dinner delivered and we ate in the lobby with our family. There were 9 of us. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We live in the area but this was our first time staying in Tampa. They are close to the riverwalk, so we did walk down to the river.

The hotel was more like a motel from the 60s. While the room was clean. There was a bad smell in the room and throughout the hotel. The air-conditioning unit sounded like a freight train coming through the room. Would not return.
