As someone who had a very poor experience my first time here, I decided to give this hotel another chance. The convenience of location and price is too nice to pass up. And I'm genuinely thrilled that I gave Red Roof Inn another chance.
My complaints from before were nonexistent this time around, excluding the dirty floors. (I don't recommend walking around barefoot in your room.) My only other complaint from this experience, which wasn't an issue last time, was that there was no HDMI port on the TV for my partner and I to hook up our Nintendo switch. There is no smart TV available, only cable guide options.
I have realized that I am simply going to start bringing my own pillows when I stay at a hotel bc of course the pillows are going to be thin & cheap, you can't complain about that.
Lastly, while I was in the lobby (the man at the front desk was very kind), I saw a sign that said pet friendly. From glancing, it seemed to say first pet free and second pet $50. I was unaware of this but thrilled knowing I can bring my cats now and possibly stay longer next time.
Will certainly be choosing the Red Roof Inn again if I am back in the area!!
