Worst Hotel Experience of my life
Spent the day skiing and looking forward to a nice warm shower and place to stay at the end of the night with my significant other. Had my room booked well in advance. Upon arrival to my already disappointment the parking lot was atrocious. It is like a makeshift lot that used to be someone’s yard but that was the least of my worries for the night.
I checked in like normal and was given our room keys. We hauled all of our luggage on a bellhop cart to our room. The keys didn’t work. Went back down to get the keys set up. They did not work again. Another trip back downstairs and the worker came up with us and confirmed the keys weren’t working.
After waiting 10 minutes in front of a room we thought was ours it turns out someone was already in there. My girlfriend had to see a stranger in the doorway in nothing but his boxers.
We now haul all of our stuff back downstairs yet again. The woman working there then spent the next hour trying to figure out what was going on. For one full hour we sat in the lobby in our soaking wet clothes with no solutions.
We find out they put someone else in the wrong room. They could not figure out which room was available still. EVERYTHING WAS WRITTEN ON PAPER. This should be as simple as checking a computer to see what room is not taken.
The food we bought was ice cold at this point and we were left shivering in the lobby until midnight.
ZERO COMPENSATION was given for the inconvenience. If the hotel wasn’t clean I’d give this 0 stars
