Stay here
Classic 50s motel. Great location. Easy mountain access. Walk downtown. Bus stop right out front. Lots of character. SUPER friendly staff. Breakfast could be better.

Steamboat Getaway
My husband and I stayed one night here and loved the proximity to downtown Steamboat. Loved the convenience of Old Town Hot Springs discount tickets offered to us at check in ($24 rather than $29) and located across the street from the hotel. The bathrooms were updated and the room was spacious and clean with a king bed. My only complaint would be the carpet. They should update with laminate flooring. The carpets were heavily stained and gross to walk bare footed on. The front desk service was excellent, check in was a breeze and we would definitely stay there again.

Very Good
Our room was very clean and updated for an older place. Very well-maintained. Continental breakfast is basically toast and cereal. But very convenient across from the Hot Springs.

The Rabbit Ears motel had a very large room with a balcony on the Yampa River. Absolutely stunning views. Right next to a beautiful park.

The facility is old and the bed sheet of our room is stained and looks dirty. The room is small. I was puzzled that When we booked it, it was rated 9.4 or 9.6 with several hundred reviews!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is located in the Yampa River and is next to a small park that has a natural hot spring. When checking in, we were assigned a second floor room. Since there's no elevator, we asked for a first floor room and they readily switched us. All rooms have external doors - it's a motel. The room seemed like it was recently remodeled. The bed was comfy! There was a balcony with chairs that we enjoyed, especially in the morning. The bathroom was very new - walk in shower with seat. Breakfast was truly continental but hit the spot! Definitely recommend staying here!
