The suites were recently renovated and very comfortable, spacious, clean, and well stocked. The property manager was completely awesome in every way, and they went out of their way to facilitate our needs. Had great conversations with the staff and they did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable.

Rooms were awesome. The kitchen was complete with cups, dishes, and silverware so it made the stay very convenient. Room was beautiful like a nice apartment and beautiful backyard view. The only downside was the loud construction noise in the early morning. It was Sunday morning the construction was happening and Saturday night in Steamboat is for the most part a fun night bar hopping. A morning to sleep in would’ve been nice after being out late.

Great dog friendly stay
I had a 1 bedroom suite with full kitchen. The suite was fully newly renovated, very spacious and clean. For a solo traveller with a dog, this was a perfect getaway out of the rain for a couple nights on our road trip.

Nice hardware poor management
Renovated rooms and location, looks pretty good at the first sight. However, unfortunately they lack of good management of the property which causes minor inconvenience - device / appliance broken in room, missing in-room body wash / regular coffee, molded food in snack bar, and long wait for shuttle. We like to stay here more but look forward to improvements.

Perfect Location
Legacy Vacation Resorts at Steamboat Springs was exactly what we were looking for. It was close to everything and all the activities we wanted to do were within minutes by car or by bicycle. The room was clean and quiet and the kitchen had everything we needed. We were able to cook our own meals which saved money on dining out. I would definately stay here again!

Hidden gem!!
Wow, what a great surprise. The room I had was great, beautiful, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. This is a 5-star hotel. I will be back.

Was easy to find and our room was very clean. The resort was in the middle of remodeling so it is hard to say how clean the main areas are normally, also with the remodel the free breakfast area was one folding table and nowhere to sit. The location has several restaurants and quite a bit of shopping near by. You also have easy access to the public transportation for Steamboat. All in all
It was a nice room with nice beds, a comfortable couch and the bathroom was big with plenty of towels and rags. The gentleman checking us in was very kind, friendly and efficient.

The room was spacious and freshly renovated. This place was great. It’s currently under construction but the workers were quiet. The shuttle to the resort was a nice perk. My only two points worth mentioning is I hope they’re renovating the hot tub and we would have appreciated some hooks by the door to hang our jackets and snowpants up. Otherwise this place was great and a steal!

We had an issue with the sink being clogged, but they changed us to another room right away. Everything in the room was updated, new and modern. All kitchen supplies that we needed to cook breakfast. They also have a hot tub which we wished we had used. Hotel has a shuttle service to the ski lift, couldn’t be better located. We’ll definitely come back :)

I reserved through Expedia. My arrival was delayed so they gave my room away. We had a loft suite rated to sleep 4. The bed was OK, but the sleeper sofa was torture. My reservation was for three nights, was late and as noted, they did not have me in the system for the second night. I ate the third night because of the sleeper sofa. I will not stay again.

So bad, we lost hundreds of $ not staying here.
We paid over 6 weeks in advance through hotels.com for this reservation. After making the nonrefundable reservation we were sent a message stating the hot tub, sauna and pool were unavailable and we would have to go to their sister resort to use those things. Also before we stayed at the Fold Hotels Steamboat Springs, the hotel had changed the name and pictures on the hotels.com website. The previous name was Legacy Vacation Resorts Steamboat Springs. After reading newer reviews and seeing the hotel in person we decided to forfeit our reservation and payment and find someplace else stay. Other reviews had mentioned bedbugs and we had already had a previous experience with bedbugs on our trip that week in Colorado so we were not willing to find out for ourselves judging by the appearance of what we could see. We did go into the lobby and after viewing the exterior along with the lobby of the property, we felt very confident in our decision to lose the nonrefundable payment and find another place. Way better to lose that money than stay at this hotel and end up with bedbugs or worse. I spoke with one person at the call center for the Fold Hotels and also the clerk at the front desk at the hotel and explained the situation. I thought possible a compromise or a partial payment refund might be achieved but no such luck. I would highly recommend avoiding this hotel and choosing one of the many better, safer and cleaner options in Steamboat Springs. Lesson learned, do not prepay.

There was nobody to check us in. They must have gone home. We had to use an old phone that you couldn’t hear anything on and talk to an operator in some other state. Whom even knows who. Didn’t have any physical face to face with someone. No run down of the property. Didn’t even show my id or card to check in. There was a line of people waiting also. Tit was just like pull up and figure out what to do on your own.

Where to start, other than you get what you pay for I guess.
The insulation between the floors and walls is horrible. We were kept up all night (2:30 am) by partying and screaming neighbors all three nights. Why they didn’t get thrown out the first or subsequent nights is baffling. Not to mention the barking dogs during the day. We called security every night and even knocked on their door because security didn’t show up the first night. I texted the property with zero response. The first night no one answered the phone at all. I asked to be moved but could be accommodated. Since I couldn’t move rooms I asked them again to try to keep the neighbors under control but that didn’t help.
We arrived at 430 for a 4pm check in and the room still wasn’t ready and had to wait.
I asked for clean towels and that never happened. They were out of soap in the shower which was never filled.
When you look at cleanliness of a place you can tell who does a good job because the door casing and bathroom walls will be clean. This wasn’t. The rest of it was clean.
I asked for a late checkout and was also not accommodated. I thought they’d be understanding being we were kept up by the partying. Staff only offered for us to use the sister property to hang out at in the lobby or pool.
I was told I could get a partial one day $14 resort fee refund for the inconvenience which was not refunded. Seriously…
