The Sun Valley Lodge was beautiful. Our room had a nice deck with view of Mt Baldy and the skating rink. The only thing better would have been to see skaters in action or a show but sadly we came after the ice shows ended. We enjoyed golfing at the Sun Valley Golf Club and loved the Trail Creek course.

Beautiful grounds and easy access to town by bike or short drive. The rooms in the inn are okay, but nothing exceptional- you are paying for the surrounding grounds, which are lovely and worth it. Vacation however was marred by the surly and shockingly rude check in personnel. She was belligerent and most unpleasant.

The airport shuttle was great. The onsite bike rentals got me nearly anywhere I wanted to be and the resort shuttle got me everywhere else. The onsite dining was hit or miss but the food was great. Service was great. A beautiful, historical restor.
