Not what it used to be sadly
You be coming to this hotel for 20 years never disappointed until this trip. It started at the desk for checkin. Unhappy employees(no smiles) which was a first, when I asked if we could upgrade both rooms to Riverview, I was told not very nicely) NO because we booked through a third party and if I would have booked directly through them they could have tried. The lack of friendliness and hospitality combined with the broken closet doors, garbage on the bathroom floor, and dirty (mold covered chairs) on the balcony, caused us great concern that what was once our favorite place to stay has gone down so badly. The family even said maybe we should try one of the other hotels nearby next time. So disappointed.

Music Road is one of our favorite places to stay! Pool/hot tub are open 24hrs. Pool is heated and hot tub is nice and hot. The only reason this didn’t get 5 stars is because of the amount of chlorine in the hot tub! It will burn your eyes and there’s so much it discolored our clothes :/ Other than that, everything else was fantastic. Great friendly staff, breakfast is hot and taste great, room was clean and comfy beds!

Overall satisfied
Did not like that the door that leads to the room beside us did not have a lock on it! It don’t have a handle so the room beside us “can’t open the door” but that’s usually real easy to get around! I definitely think they still should have had a lock or something at the top of the door where you have the option to lock it, just so you have that peace of mind & extra reassurance. Also my kids & their friends got in the pool and idk if if was to much chlorine or what but all of them their cheeks and face got red etc and they was not in it long at all, maybe 30 min. We love this hotel and always have a great time! It’s clean & staff is usually always nice & never an issue with the pool before. Definitely don’t like the not locking thing but other than that it was great!

Excellent Stay
My family and I enjoyed our stay at Music Road Resort Inn. We were there from Dec 25 - 28. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Everything was so clean and in working order. I even enjoyed some quiet time by the fireplace in the lobby. The location was great and close to all of the wonderful places to visit in Pigeon Forge. The breakfast was great. My girls thorougly enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub and when we weren't sightseeing, that's where they were! We will definitely be back and definitely will recommend others stay here when they visit Pigeon Forge.

Be careful on the beds
The bed was missing screws and my husband fell through the side of the bed as soon as we checked in. Was told since we used hotels.com they couldn’t do anything to compensate us.

It was a great stay overall, only big problem was that we booked the hotel for two adults and three children specifically when we arrive there was only two queen bed then we received a very large cot. That was very cumbersome and there was no room to put in We had to push furniture around ourselves to accommodate it because they just left it in the room oh and they made us pay $10 extra that we actually had to come down and pay instead of just charging it on the credit card they already had on file but that was the only complaint otherwise the hotel is great

60 years and counting!
Everything was great. Comfortable clean room and friendly staff. The breakfast bar was excellent and the attendant was friendly and helpful. We were here for our 60th wedding anniversary for a couple days just to visit two of our favorite places, (Log cabin Pancake House on Airport Road and Peddlers Steakhouse). It's amazing how Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge has changed since 1964, but it's refreshing to find accommodations like this available. We will be back and hopefully we'll be able to bring our two great grandchildren. Keep up the good work.

Christmas Vacation
The room was clean, breakfast was good (sausage patties, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy and other continental food), the lobby was festive and inviting. Great location, nice staff. The cons; the room needs updating. Our room had old lamps, old carpet and no USB ports. Two outlets did not work. We were there for three nights and they cleaned our room 1 time. Updating the rooms and changing the heat/air system in the room would boost their rating.

Best experience we ever had!
We had the best experience here. We came to have a Christmas magical experience and this hotel helped make this happen. The breakfast was top tier the lady at the front desk was so helpful and polite everything was decorated for Christmas we had a beautiful view and a wonderful time. We will now be customers for life.
