I always enjoy my stay at Homewood Suite Cedar Rapids North. The rooms are clean and spacious. The price just seems to be pricey for an off-season stay!

Wonderful stay, staff was great! We enjoyed the room layout, liked pillow assortment, good mattress and bedding, great toilet flushing pressure, good shower head. Enjoyed the food services, good coffee, everything was great. Our previous two nights in Iowa were at the Hampton Inn Des Moines Downtown and enjoyed that stay as well. However, after comparing the two, we will definitely book future trips with Homewood suites by Hilton.

Great stay!
Some hotels are stingy, but this one is generous! We checked in and they offered free appetizers (every Wed), including soup, hummus, and wine. The hot bar breakfast was different every morning - Samantha made delicious food, and was very friendly and accommodating! Everything was clean and roomy. My one little complaint was the cold water in the pool - opted for a nice hot shower instead, which was plentiful with a good shower head. Love that they refill soap dispensers and use real dishes to be more eco-friendly. And we appreciated that there were outlets throughout the room, with charging stations on each side of the bed with room for plugs, USB, USB-C, and a wireless charging pad. It was a great stay!

We love the suites with separate living room/kitchen and also the bathroom sink separate from the rest of the bathroom. Also love the ease of use with the soap, lotion, shampoo & conditioner.
The exhaust fan in the bathroom was very dirty!

Property was pretty run down. Our room was not super clean and there was no shampoo in the shower. The bathroom floor had not been moped. You could still see footprint from previous guest on the floor.

This property was as expected, staff was friendly, breakfast was very good. Our room was as expected for a hotel. Only "complaint," I would have is someone on the 4th floor flooded their bathroom and it poured out of a light in our kitchen area. We informed staff, they did come, see it and turn off the water on the 4th floor, but we were left to clean up the mess on our own. A man did come to take a look, left and never returned. I never heard another word about it, nor did they come to assess the damage in our room to see if it was safe to use lights in the room. Other than that I do not have any complaints about our stay and would return.

Do not recommend. Service started bad at check in and remained consistent throughout 2 night stay. From being downgraded in room by hotel without any compensation to no linen service. Asked for towels and were told we were allowed 2, explained there were 3 people and housekeeping did not service room. Was told they would send housekeeping up. 45 min later still no towels. Was told by front desk they were gone and I could come and get 2 towels.
Only reason we stayed 2nd night was because Expedia took care of us.
We travel alot and unfortunately will not be back to this hotel.

Front staff was very accommodating to the large group we had. He did everything in his best effort to ensure we were all close to one another. However, there were issues with making keys and it appeared in the middle of the night, a key must of been made to another visitor and they walked into our room in the middle of the night. Very weird and scary as there were kids.
