Awful stay
The bathroom sink hadn’t been cleaned Gross. The walls are so thin you can hear everyone talking, and the room above us all you could hear is creaking from walking around. The whole stay was awful. Will never stay there again, this was off season😭

We knew that the kitchen was being remodeled but what we weren’t told was that the whole hotel was closing the day we left Sunday the 6th, so not even a bar for drinks and the deli was not a deli more like a stop and go coffee shop. I would have thought a least I could get a cup of coffee free at that point.😌

Beautiful views, friendly staff, and quick easy check in. The cabins were not clean. Floor/rug had rocks, dirt and debris on them like they hadn’t been vacuumed. Cold bring an extra blanket. Shower was out of shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Gross, hairy bathroom floor
Very poor cleaning. The bathroom floor had piles of hair & debris. The room carpet had a lot of debris on it when we arrived.

It was a cabin on property. It was a sweet room. Beds comfortable. Temperature controlled. Just didn’t have TV.

Cabins are not serviced and beds were not comfortable with very thin bedding which wasn't really adequate for the time of the year. Large dust piles and dirt in behind bedside table and furniture Really loved the park but cabin and also Wylie's cafeteria leave a lot to be desired I ordered a chicken burger only for around _$12 and the patty itself was actually inedible was that hard you couldn't even chew it hence I threw it out and just ate a salad bun. Very poor considering the limited options available at that time of the year 😕

Expedia toatally mislead us Telling us we had a reservation at the Yellowstone Lake hotel and then when got there were told the hotel was closed and they booked us in some other lodge. In complaining to Expedia they refused to make it right. Terrible, terrible company. I won’t use them again!!!!!!!

Disappointed that no attempt was made to offer a breakfast credit at nearby facilities, following dining room closure, despite having paid for room with breakfast

In the park-ouch
I had to ask for a new room because the keys that were given to me we’re not keys that would quickly get me into the space. Even the employee that came to help us said the keys were not adequate. They did quickly put us in a new room. There were no further key issues. Overall, the room was adequate, but very tight for a family of four. I really question if the beds were queen size beds… Felt more like fulls to me. We needed to ask for the toiletries to be filled as there were only quarter fills in each of the bottles. When we needed a plunger, they offered one quickly. The service was great in the rooms and they responded quickly, but for the price it was outlandish! I realize the hotel is within the park, but by literal end of season, the prices should not have been over $400 a night!

We felt the Xanterra Management group was more interested in earning profits than providing value. Hard to ruin a Yellowstone experience but Xanterra came close.

Beautiful location. Hotel looks opulent. I was in a cabin that was old and drafty, windows don’t open and grounds around the cabins were unkempt.
