This is hands down my kid’s favorite hotel to stay at! We stayed here on our first trip to the Black Hills and since have returned numerous times.

The breakfast was really good, tasty, and fresh-- much better than most other hotels bland food. The staff were very friendly. The room was good and clean, but the bed was a bit too firm for me. I just used a thick mattress pad which helped. The location is great--- close to many tourist attractions.

This hotel is conveniently located near Mount Rushmore and Rapid City. It was clean and comfortable. There is a free game room and coin operated laundry. The breakfast was good.

Very quiet and relaxing stay. Owner recommended a fantastic place to eat supper (Halley’s West has the best Buffalo burger). Room was very clean.

The room had pull down shades that were damaged and let light in all around. The top security lock was damaged and didn’t work. The breakfast was ok. It had hot options. It was nice having china instead of paper to eat and drink out of. It was close to Mt Rushmore. We were able to watch mule deer in the morning right outside the hotel.

This was just one night and close to Mount Rushmore so it served the purpose. It does have a free breakfast with typical pre cooked fare. The staff was friendly. There’s not much parking , it’s on a hill and you have to go up in back of the hotel. Seems like just enough spaces for guests.
