The property was quite beautiful, the room had massive windows that were functional. The location was prime as it was just by the ocean, but also in the country.

This is a beautiful property in a small French town, just a 10 minute drive from the lovely very old village of Veules-les-Roses. The hosts were happy to share the property's history and how the building connects to the neighbouring family dynasties. Rooms are spacious, each with a private bath. The book collection in the Green is quite eclectic. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Authentically French, though owned by chatty Americans; the room (the green room) was spacious with very high ceilings and a quaint bathroom attached. The bed was very hard, but large, with lights and sockets each side. No USB charging, but the wifi was sufficient to watch a movie on my laptop one night. (No in-room TV). Breakfast was croissant and bread. Easy reach from Dieppe, but felt in the middle of nowhere.

Vi blev budt hjerteligt velkommen til stedet af bror nr. 1, fik en hyggesnak om stedet, og hjælp til at finde spisesteder til aftensmad. Perfekt.
Vi tog afsted (4 km.) til Veules-les-Roses. En by ved den Engelske Kanal. Flot by og flot kyst med stejl kalkstensklipper. Smukt.
Efter maden retur til en dejlig nat.
Morgenmaden blev serveret af Bror 2. Vi fik igen en hyggelig snak, og dejlig let fransk morgenmad.
Hygge.
Det er ikke Hilton. Det er et fransk landsted, hvor der er indrettet værelser. Det skal karaktererne tages ud fra.

Das Chalet hat eine wunderschöne Lage und sehr, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen, hat dennoch einen besonderen Charme. Ich habe auf der Durchreise dort übernachtet und würde einen Aufenthalt wiederholen, wenn es sich ergibt.
