Perfect stay
This place is the best location, and even has a view of Mount Rushmore. The grounds are beautiful, the restaurant is great and the rooms are comfortable and clean. I’d come back and recommend!

Great location and property. Shower has a huge rainfall shower head, but weak water pressure nullifies it. A very small tv for 2025, but good WiFi. Nice breakfast and dining area.

We had a great stay at KBar S Lodge! The property is beautifully spread out, offering a peaceful setting and lovely views of Mt. Rushmore from several spots around the lodge. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the quiet, scenic surroundings.
The complimentary breakfast was decent, with a good variety of options to start the day. The breakfast area itself is cozy and well-maintained, making it a pleasant spot to enjoy a meal before heading out to explore.
Would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone visiting the Keystone area!

Nice room. We had booked a mountain view and balcony which would have been excellent had the weather not been cold and misty (but the hotel cannot control the weather!). The view was of Mt Rushmore and we did get a glimpse of a profile of one of the Presidents.
We had dinner at the Bar and really enjoyed the Chicken Club Sandwich and Pulled Pork Sandwich.
