Appropriately priced
Quiet and respectful neighbors, but loud train right across the street went by three times. A fancy soap caddy was created, but the busted bathroom door frame would not allow door to latch. Extra role of toilet paper was provided, but the spring loaded bar was missing from the dispenser. Nice clean room, but exceptionally small with no chair to sit in. I saw ten baby roaches which had hatched out in the bathroom, but the shower and sink plumbing worked marvelously and had good water pressure. The TV required instructions to use, but the extensive number of channels and variety offered was impressive. And the MOST important things were that there were no bed bugs, and no one broke into our car overnight. Colonial Hotel was within our budget and we were happy to pay it.

Shower curtain?
The shower didnt have a curtain to keep water from splashing all over the restroom floor. Only 2 towels were therr, and not looking properly cleaned

was a nice cozy place and quiet, but there were bugs walking on the floor and in the restroom. and little flies flying around which I don't know where they came from.

Homeless in the area digging in trash and just hanging around the area. Room are ok. Cleaning could be better and you can hear your next door neighbors all odds of the night laughing, drinking hanging out. But was a good stay for just one night.

Small room but adequate and clean.
The room was smaller than usual but worked for our overnight stay. No chair in the room although there was a small desk type area where one would have been helpful. The exterior door bolt lock didn't work (but the knob lock did) The bathroom door didn't latch because a piece of the jamb was broken off but that didn't matter to us. We didn't use the tub/shower but it seemed fine. It was a good value for the money overall. The room and bathroom were clean.

The bed sheets were dirty and stained. The staff assigned a different room when no housekeeping person showed up. They even helped us move. The new room had a crack pipe on a window sill.

Wifi doesn't work at all, the room is full of dirt. The sheets and pillows are dirty. The water is not very clean. No hair dryer, no hangers.

my towels were not clean. the toothpaste residue on the wall in the bathroom was not mine. wifi was not accessible. homeless person was wandering in area and asked me for money 2 times.

I couldn’t even stay in this room because it was so disgusting and dirty there was flies everywhere big house flies all over the place all over the curtains all over the ceiling all over the bed it smelled bad the bathroom was disgusting there was holes in the towels. I left this place and went and slept in my truck because there was no way I was sleeping in this disgusting room I want my money back in full!

Bait & Switch?
Booked the Colonial Motel based on recent reviews that it was ok. It was very inexpensive, so my expectations were low. Clean would have met expectations When checking inn I was told my room was next door at the Ranchito Motel they owned. Don't know why, but based on the Ranchito I doubt the Colonial could have been much better. Room key card didn't work so owner replaced batteries in the door and then still had to get a new card. TV remote only turned TV off and on. Housekeeper showed me how to change channels on a box on the side of the TV and that was that. Floor and most flat surfaces was dirty. Original towels were disgusting, some type of faded orange stains. I don't want to guess what that color started out as. Housekeeper must have know the condition and brought replacements without being asked. Big dogs that were kept on the property barked some during the night, but I was very tired and it didn't bother me much. I wish I had slept in my car instead of this place.
