A peaceful property away from the loud-busy city. Walking into the lobby, feels welcoming and relaxing after traveling long distance. My daughters (9&12) loved the pool. I enjoyed the central tropic garden, the pool side seating and the simple, but varied breakfast menu. Also, hot water was always available! I need a few clothes laundered on arrival; they went out of their way to make it happen! Thank you for a great stay!!!
I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic :)
Fantastic little place to rest your head after coming out of a 2 week stay in the rainforest! The staff was wonderful and the rooms are just as cozy as can be. :))

The property was very close to the river and to the main plaza area. The only thing at the time of my visit was that the road the hotel is on had construction. Other than that, very nice place to stay

location, location, location
Great location 2 blocks from Plaza de Armes.
Only negative was we asked the night before for a cab at 6:30 and the lady at the front desk ordered a cab, but it did not arrive until 6:50 making for an almost missed flight.

Excellent service near the river.
This was our second visit to Garden House.
This time our WiFi signal was weaker. Our room was further from the pool this time so perhaps that is the reason.
The breakfast is more than adequate, as stated previously, and the service from the staff is still great. This time a member of staff brought us a pair of pool towels whilst we were in the pool; we had no idea that pool towels were available.
We found a laundry nearby that charges 4 soles per kilo, and we continued to discover great local restaurants.
If I return to Iquitos, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

Nice hotel close to the river and Plaza de Armas.
Garden House is a pleasant hotel only metres from the river and three blocks from Plaza de Armas.
The rooms are clean and comfortable with a clean en-suite shower room.
Breakfast is ham, cheese and toast served with your choice of eggs. Tea and coffee are available 24/7.
The pool is small but very refreshing in the fierce heat.
An enormous range of restaurants lie only a short walk away.
We will be returning here soon and are looking forward to it.

Excellent hotel except for absent WiFi
The management told us that WiFi reception in Iquitos was generally and always bad. Not true! We found a restaurant nearby with good reception. A black mark!

Gateway to the Amazon
Stayed one night as part of an education abroad experience. Can't say enough great things about this place. The check-in was smooth and fast which was great after a long flight from the States. The amenities and room were what you would expect at hotels costing much more. The location was very convenient to the Iquitos airport.
