Awesome ovation walking distance from all Main attractions (around 10 minutes) from haggia Sofia, blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, tram, Sultan Ahmet square, grand bazaar. artsar. Bazaar, Turkish Hammans. Manager and staff very friendly and can organise tours for you. Very safe and meets basic needs. Not 5 star but worth the money as a budget accommodation. Stayed 8 hot days in July. Friendly, helpful English speaking staff. Smooth check-in and extensions. Large tidy clean quiet basic room with all the usual facilities in working order. Windows to air the room during the day. Aircon and fridge really useful in the heat. Good bed, wifi and TV. Slight view of the Bosphorus. Good buffet breakfast available for extra charge. Handy to Sultan Ahmet sights and transport (uphill) and Bophorous promenade (downhill - about 30 minutes to Galata Bridge). Good value for money given the location.

Having read previous reviews, we were a bit nervous about arriving. However, for the price we paid (£25 per night) it was a reasonable hotel. Clean sheets and bathroom was clean. Staff were excellent and went above and beyond to assist us with an excursion we booked via them. Sound proofing is awful. You will constantly be woken up by people coming in and out as there is no sound proofing. It's like an echo chamber. Location is amazing. 5 min walk to Blue mosque etc. Overall, for the price, decent stay. If they invested in sound proofing it would be an excellent hotel.

Very bad experience
Don't be fooled by the reviews nor the photos, the photos were taken when the hotel was new, we went there I booked 3 nights, we arrived at 2 am and the room was not as shown, the furniture is old and overused, the sheets were not as clean as they should be and the floor was sticky, I checked out next morning and the guy was telling me we can clean the room, but shouldn't it be cleaned before you bring people in? Anyway the whole experience was very bad, and I totally Dont recommend it
